- EduDomus is NOT a tutoring company. We do not provide tutoring services.
- EduDomus is NOT an employer or staffing agency. We do not employ educators or place them in jobs.
- EduDomus is NOT a payment processor for tuition, fees, or any compensation between families and educators.
- EduDomus is a connection platform. We connect families and educators so they can work together directly.
ACCEPTANCE
By creating an account on EduDomus, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use EduDomus.
WHAT EDUDOMUS IS
EduDomus provides a platform where homeschool families can discover independent educators and where educators can make themselves findable to homeschool families. We facilitate introductions and messaging. We do not:
All arrangements — schedules, curriculum, compensation, location — are made directly between the family and the educator. EduDomus is not a party to those arrangements.
- Employ, endorse, certify, or background-check educators
- Guarantee any educational outcomes
- Process or hold tuition payments or any fees between users
- Set or regulate the terms of any arrangement between families and educators
- Act as a staffing agency, employment agency, or placement service
All arrangements — schedules, curriculum, compensation, location — are made directly between the family and the educator. EduDomus is not a party to those arrangements.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
All users:
- Provide accurate information in your profile
- Use EduDomus only for lawful purposes
- Treat other users with respect
- Do not share your account with others
- A parent or legal guardian must create and maintain the family account; minors may not hold accounts
- You are responsible for vetting any educator you choose to work with
- We strongly recommend verifying credentials, conducting your own background checks, and meeting in a safe public place before any in-person arrangement
- You represent that you are 18 years of age or older
- You are an independent service provider, not an employee of EduDomus or any family you work with through the platform
- You are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and compliance with applicable law
SAFETY AND PROHIBITED CONDUCT
EduDomus enforces a strict safety policy. You may not:
All messages are screened before delivery. We will block content that violates these terms, flag suspicious activity, and cooperate with law enforcement where required. Accounts that violate these terms will be suspended or terminated.
- Use the platform to contact or arrange unsupervised access to minors
- Send harmful, harassing, or threatening messages
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your credentials
- Attempt to circumvent our safety screening
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
EduDomus is provided strictly "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EduDomus and its operators expressly disclaim all liability of any nature — including but not limited to: the conduct, identity, credentials, or acts of any user; the accuracy, completeness, or legality of any user-provided content; any arrangement, agreement, or interaction that occurs between a family and an educator (on or off the platform); any failure to moderate or remove content; any interruption, error, or loss of data; and any indirect, direct, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, EduDomus.
You use EduDomus entirely at your own risk. EduDomus is a discovery tool only — it is not a party to any arrangement between families and educators, does not vet, endorse, or guarantee any user, and accepts no responsibility for outcomes arising from connections made through the platform. To the fullest extent permitted by law, total liability for any claim shall be zero.

TERMINATION
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice. Upon termination, your right to use EduDomus ends immediately.
GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Massachusetts.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use of EduDomus after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
