EduDomus exists for two reasons: to empower families to direct their children's education, and to connect them with exceptional educators.
WHAT WE'RE FOR
A family that chooses to homeschool takes on the whole of a child's education — the subjects they love and the ones they don't. That is real work, and no one should have to do all of it alone.
Homeschooling families deserve access to great teachers. Great teachers deserve a way to teach outside the traditional classroom. EduDomus is the introduction between them.
A parent should be able to find someone nearby who teaches Latin, or physics, or cello. An educator who wants to teach on their own terms should be able to be found. That is the work we are trying to do.

WHERE WE ARE
EduDomus started in Worcester County, Massachusetts. The first families and educators here come from Northbridge, Grafton, and the towns around them.
We are building outward from there across New England — the rest of Massachusetts first, then Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine.
Distance matters for this kind of teaching. A co-op that meets on Tuesday morning has to be close enough to drive to. We would rather be genuinely useful in one region than thin across the country, so we are starting where we live.

A family says what they are looking for: the subject, the ages, how far they can travel, and whether they want one-to-one teaching or something shared.
An educator says what they teach and how — individually, in a small group, in a pod, or with a co-op.
Then the two find each other and talk. Every family-side conversation includes the guardian; there is never a private channel between an adult and someone else's child. When you agree on something, you arrange it directly.
Families and educators each pay for access to the platform. We do not take a percentage of what an educator earns, and no money passes through us.

SAFETY IS FOUNDATIONAL
Safety is not a feature we added on top. It is the shape of the product.
A guardian is on every family-side conversation. There are never direct messages between an adult and a minor — the platform does not offer that path. Every message is screened before it is delivered, not after.
None of this is adjustable. It costs some convenience, and we consider that a fair trade.

A FAMILY'S PRIVACY
Where a family lives is theirs to share, not ours. We never expose a precise location. Families and educators see only an approximate area and a rough distance — enough to know whether working together is practical, and nothing more.
An address is something a family gives to a person they have chosen to trust. It is not something a platform should hand out on their behalf. Our Privacy Policy describes exactly what we store and what we show.
